Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and review of procedures and systems designed to facilitate safe work at site.
- Establish health & safety orientation & training plan for all work place personnel.
- Ensure that all re portable and serious incidents are reported to concern head and govt authorities.
- Ensure safety promotion & awareness at the work place.
- Monitor work site in order to ensure construction safety plan is being followed by contractors and issuing non-compliance reports where necessary.
- Ensure closing of NCRs within stipulated frame time.
- Ensure all safety and health rules, regulations, policies and procedures are understood and observed by all project personnel.
- Prepare reports at monthly intervals as required by management regarding overall construction safety performance.
- Analyze the data collected from safety monitoring (audit, observation etc) & identify trends, major concerns & propose corrective actions
- Maintain a record of loss time accidents in the project and responsible for conducting hazard identification and risk analysis.
- Ensuring safe and accident free environment at site for staff/labour/equipment and vendors on daily basis.
- To ensure that minimum requirement of each Personal protective equipment (PPE) is maintained by contractor at work place.
- To ensure that PPE brought in by the contractor meet the IS standards.
- Ensure that all employees having PPE.
- Daily safety inspection of site to identify the unsafe behavior and unsafe condition of work.
- Check safe work plan before starting job.
- Responsible for safety meeting and training of fire fighting to workers.
- Recommends disciplinary action to safety violators who exposed unnecessary themselves or other personal or property damage.
- Make all site activity reports in proper job safety analysis in procedure it.
